What 's 3/10 oscillator? The MACD with following setting (3, 10, 16) SMA.

Time frame 30 min or higher.

Currency pairs: majors, Indices.

Setup

3/10 oscillator ( MACD 3, 10, 16)

Exponential moving average 5, close.

Exponential moving average 13, close.

Exponential moving average 100, close.

Trend up 5 and 13 EMA above 100.

Trend down 5 and 13 EMA below 100.

Rules

Buy

When there is an up trend for entry wait by the second cross upward of the EMA 5 and EMA 13 confirmed by 3/10 oscillator.

Sell

When there is an down trend for entry wait by the second cross downward of the EMA 5 and EMA 13 confirmed by 3/10 oscillator.

Exit when the EMA 5 and EMA 13 crosses in opposite direction, but the best exit is with predetermined profit target that depends by currency pairs and time frame.

This entry technique has the advantage of being able to limit losses when the market is in range, It 's a trick you will not find anywhere. It is not the Holy Grail but it helps.
