Trend Flat Momentum Trading System

Trend flat momentum is a trend following system based on crossover of two moving averages filtered by slow momentum indicators as RSI and two CCI. The purpose of this system is to enter in the market when there is a trend. This strategy is designed for works a higher time frame.

Time frame 30 min or higher.

Currency pairs: EUR/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD, USD/CHF, GBP/USD, NZD/USD, EUR/USD, USD/CAD.

Indicators setting

Commodity Channel Index (36 periods, close).

Commodity Channel Index (55 periods, close).

Slow RSI ( 27 periods, close).

Moving average fast 11 periods smoothed median price/2.

Moving average fast 25 periods smoothed median price/2.

Buy

Moving average 11 periods smoothed crosses upward moving average 25.

Slow RSI above 58 level.

CCI 36 above zero line,

CCI 55 above zero line.

Place initial stop loss on the previous swing low.

Large trailing stop.

Make profit below important resistance level or with predetermined profit target.

Sell

Moving average 11 periods smoothed crosses downward moving average 25.

Slow RSI above 58 level.

CCI 36 below zero line,

CCI 55 below zero line.

Place initial stop loss on the previous swing high.

Large trailing stop.

Make profit above important support level or with predetermined profit target.
