Super Cobra Breakout Trading

Super Cobra Breakout is trend-breakout trading system based channel High/Low of Moving Averages and the MACD. This strategy is designed to be suitable for higher 4H time frame, Daily or Weekly. Currency pairs: any.

Technical indicators:

Exponential moving average 6 period, high;

Exponential moving average 6 period, low;

MACD (12, 26, 9).

There are two ways for use this forex strategy:

first as the simple breakout of the channel filtered by MACD;

second in multitime frame analysis, the trades only in the direction of higher time frame.

Simple breakout channel rules

Buy

Price close outside the upper channel.

MACD is above the zero line.

Sell

Price close outside the upper channel.

MACD is above the zero line.

Breakout channel in muti time frame

For trading at 4H go first at daily chart, for trading at daily go a weekly chart.

Buy

At daily chart the price has close above the upper channel. At 4H chart trading only buy at the breakout of upper channel. MACD above zero line.

Sell

At daily chart the price has close below the lower channel. At 4H chart trading only sell at the breakout of lower channel. MACD below zero line.

If the price at daily chart is in the channel do not open trades.

The first breakout channel is a method of trading more aggressive.

Exit when the price come back into the channel or make profit with ratio stop loss 1.1 – 1.2, it depends on the risk they want to take.

Stop loss 5-20 pips dependes by time frame before the high/low line of the channel.

Examples of Trades

In the first picture we have GBP/JPY 4H chart with Super Cobra Breakout (the simple breakout channel) that generates 7 trades all in gain.

In the second picture we have AUD/USD daily chart with Super Cobra Breakout (the simple breakout channel) that generates 9 trades 7 in gain and 2 losses.

In the third picture we have AUD/USD weekly chart with Super Cobra Breakout (Breakout channel in muti time frame) the price action is below of the lower line on daily chart trades only sell.

In the picture below we have AUD/USD daily chart and trades only Sell. 4 trades all in gain.
