a trend following trading system for day trading based on three
moving averages and Bollinger Bands.
Currency pairs:EUR/USD,USD/CHF,
GBP/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD
Time frame: 15 min 5 min.
Forex Indicators:
14 Exponential moving average , close,
21 Exponential moving average , close,
50 Exponential moving average , close,
Bollinger Bands (period 20, deviation
2.0)
MACD (14, 26, 7)
Rules:
Buy
first go at 5 min chart and check
conditions for buy
14 EMA is above 21 EMA,
14 EMA and 21 EMA are above 50 EMA,
50 EMA is within the Bollinger Bands
borders,
after go 15 min chart and check the
same previous conditions:
14EMA > 21 EMA and 14EMA & 21EMA
> 50 EMA
50EMA isis within the r of the
Bollinger Bands.
MACD going up or histogram above zero
level.
Sell
go at 5 min chart and check conditions
for sell
14 EMA is below 21 EMA,
14 EMA and 21 EMA are below 50 EMA,
50 EMA is within the Bollinger Bands ,
after go 15 min chart and check the
same previous conditions:
14EMA < 21 EMA and 14EMA & 21EMA
< 50 EMA
50EMA isis within the lower border of
the Bollinger Bands.
MACD going down or histogram below zero
level.
Exit rules:
exit when at the 5 min chart the Moving
averages change direction. Place initial stop loss above/below the
middle line of the BB.
This is a simple but winning strategy.
